Some time ago you created what you called a process entitled “building your own motivation.” The intention was to review past experiences or incidents of your life and from them extract the evidence of your accomplishments or achievements so you might harness that feeling or energy now. You felt this act would build your motivation to do something now, which it can, but you neglected to find the reason you were engaging in the process.

You were attempting to shore up, so to speak, your lack of belief in yourself. You now have the evidence of who you are and what you have done, and you could decide to skip the process and jump right to believing in yourself.
