Loving yourself is the same as holding self-empathy, but now the concept may be easier for you to accept. You had an experience yesterday where you saw someone struggling and in a state of confusion. You decided to know at that moment this was their own evolutionary process, and you even saw it as being an integral and necessary part of their path.

You held the understanding and knowing they would eventually come to find the value in their experience and that because of that they would be a more evolved being. Self-empathy means you decide today to offer that understanding and compassion to yourself.
