While you always know there is something for you to gain in every experience you might have, you do not always know what that will be. This was the case for you the other day.
You had placed your belief, faith, and trust in another and then because of their actions, you began to doubt that. Then as the situation progressed, you found that your fears were completely unwarranted. Then you went into tremendous guilt and regret because of your actions, and this required a bit of self-forgiveness on your part.
Now you thought that what you felt guilty and regret about was not holding that belief, faith, and trust in the other, but this was meant to point out to you the lack of belief, faith, and trust you hold in yourself.
