This will be an exciting excursion for you. First, begin by studying the definition of the word identity. As you gain more awareness by that study, now realize that it is you who created your own identity.
Your identity then is not created by your family, your place or country of origin, or even your particular ethnic or racial heritage. When you fully understand that you create your identity and it is never determined by anything that exists outside of you, it would then be wise for you to deliberately create the personal identity you choose to have, use, and therefore project to others.
It now becomes how you choose to view and think of yourself, and how you and you alone want to have others think of and see you.
